Palermo’s prides itself on maintaining the highest levels of product quality at all times.
Our Quality Assurance Department maintains oversight of numerous important functions that are essential to our consistent delivery of product excellence including: Supplier Quality, Regulatory Compliance, Quality Systems, HACCP & Food Safety, Customer Response, Product Commercialization, and Sanitation.
These key competencies ensure we are consistently delivering the highest possible quality in both our products and our processes. Each ingredient, supplier, and production process is evaluated for food safety, and stringent requirements are put in place to make sure that each and every pizza made by Palermo’s meets our requirements, our customer requirements, and those of the regulatory agencies.
By working continuously within operations, our Quality Assurance staff acts as our “ambassadors of quality”. Quality Assurance teaches every “pizzaiola” (that’s pizza maker in Italian) how to make the highest quality pizzas and provides the means to measure quality performance, ensuring that each ingredient used in Palermo’s pizzas will keep our customers satisfied with the very best quality that can be achieved.
